As most of you know, my wedding colors are black, white and Tiffany's blue. I'm using all sorts of variations on the colors for the reception. My grandmother found a set of these in her house the other day, and sent them home with my mom for me:
Still not sure what I'm going to use them for, but can I say that I LOVE them?? I searched a few websites like etsy and ebay- apparently blue Ball jars are tres antique and tres vintage-which translates in wedding lingo to tres expensive! And I got some for free! Yippeee!
Sorry for the over use of the word 'tres' but it sounds so much cooler than the word 'very'.
Any thoughts or ideas on what I can do with these fabulous jars?

Could you use them to hold the flowers on the head table (if you're having one)? Or could you have them on the table where nametags will be to decorate (if you have one)? I'll think some more!
Oh! I like using them on the escort card table idea!! Keep thinking Carsen!!!
:)
I wish I could draw this description for you....wrap a satin ribbon (I suggest black), around the "belly" of the jar and place a flower or bloom behind it, trapping the stem to the jar. You could place them in the bathrooms, or line them up on a featured table.
hmmm save them for my wedding oh future wedding planner for me???
Those are very cool. I love them! They are close to the turquoise color of my own wedding. What about using them to hold candles or flowers on cocktail tables? Are you going to have a cocktail hour? You could also use them to line the aisle for the ceremony somehow...I think candles inside of them would be beautiful! If you wanted, if they have handles like that, you could even have the bridesmaids carry them with candles in them instead of flowers? I saw that at a night time wedding somewhere and it was beautiful...and cost saver to if you don't do florals for the ladies...but that's kind of an important one for me :)
not sure if you're having a candy bar or dessert buffet or anything, but you could use them to decorate the table - I also really like Katy's idea, I can visualize :)
Keep the ideas coming!! Seriously, these jars are so beautious!
The flowers will be the best on the opt for as the color would just make it look to be quite contrasting and having them on some of the special tables would just make it a point about the elegance and crafty the decoration you have opted for.
Wow! The blue ball jars are among the ones that are sorted for by many people. I think that it would be a very good thing to have the flowers placed in this as it would just enhance the look and the feel of the flower of being in water, and the blue suiting the color of the ocean. Just would look to be an apt one for an occasion as in a wedding.
