Lauren is having a secret fantasy versions of my wedding....a rustic and relaxed barn wedding and reception with lots of family and friends in attendance. And she is an ideal bride---relaxed, calm and totally focused on what a wedding should be about: making a lifetime commitment to the one you love.

Wo: How did you know Matt was 'the one'?
I realized when I learned that he is one of the most care, compassionate, non-judgmental people I've ever met. He's fun-loving and makes me laugh -- which helped too! ;)
What is your favorite part of wedding planning? Least favorite?
Favorite: Collaborating with my parents and Matt on what our "vision" is -- and it coming to fruition! We've also loved talking to old friends who are planning to come in to town and share our special day with us!
Least Favorite: Details (and money pits) like renting chairs!
What advice to you have for Pittsburgh brides regarding their vendor search?
Look for perfectionists for the services you really prioritize as important (my hair and make up guys are the best! -- and our photographer -- evidenced by the pics!!) and the others, look out of the city because they can be just as good and mostly cheaper!
What are you most looking forward to about being married?
A lifetime of being with the one who makes you smile everyday and having kids together -- we're really excited about both parts. =)
